Teacher information
The best way to reach me is [email protected] or call and leave a message at 415-898-2121.
I do my best to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours but, if you have not heard from me within the district policy of 48 hours, please contact me through the front office. Technology is not always as reliable as we have come to expect. All ERWC seniors have my cell phone number.
A little bit about me:
I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I attended Mills College in Oakland for my Bachelor's degree in English and went to Dominican University for my teaching credential and my Master's degree in Education. My husband Scott is a local, having been born and raised right here in Novato. He previously coached girl's basketball at both Novato High and San Marin. His dream job out of college was to work in the wine industry, which he has done for the past 30 plus years. We have four adopted children ranging in age from 33 to 14. I love reading, music, hiking, traveling, and the beach. I also belong to a dance club and spend my free time knitting and gardening.
I love it when my students share good books and music with me. Some of my favorite songs on my iPod were recommended by my students!
Above all, I have a passion for teaching. Though this is my second career I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 5 years old. I am so excited to be here at San Marin and look forward to a great year.
